As the Development Officer of the Elizabeth New Life Center I would like to personally thank the students and families of Piqua Catholic School for your recent participation in the Bottles for Babies campaign. Piqua Catholic School generosity has helped to raise $ 1585.17 . ! That is no small thing... that is amazing! For every DOLLAR helps in saving a baby's life from abortion through the services that are provided. Every gift is a true blessing! We always accept returned bottles and we show there are still 143 bottles that need to be returned. It's not too late to help and contribute, even an empty bottle returned is a saving for us. Thanks again for your support and generosity!" You were given 280 bottles and we had 137 returned. Once again thank you and Piqua Catholic School. If there is anything else I can help with please let me know. Prayers and blessings to all of you and your student's families. Without you we wouldn't be able to provide the services needed to save babies' and change lives. ITS TOMORROW!! Monday, December 4th & Tuesday December 5th The Piqua Catholic Santa Shop will be available in the North Street Library for students K-8 on December 4th and 5th for your child to pick out some Christmas gifts for some loved ones. All gifts are $1, $2, $3, $4, $5, $6, or $7. Students will wrap their gifts by putting them in gift bags and attaching a gift tag/label that they bring from home. Your child will be shopping either on Monday December 4th or Tuesday December 5th, based on the designated day and time picked by their teacher. Students will be sent in small groups to shop, not all at once. Our Santa shop is meant to be a fun activity for the kids, it is not a fundraiser nor by any means is it mandatory. Please just let your teacher know if you prefer that your child does not participate. If you would like your child to participate they may purchase up to 4 gifts. Please send an envelope with your child to use while shopping. Within the envelope please include: gift tags/labels that are filled out with “to” and “from” information so that they can be easily adhered to the gift bag. The amount of money that your child is allowed to spend in the envelope. All gifts range from $1 to $7. Your child can purchase up to 4 gifts. We do ask that you put a max spending amount on the envelope, so your child does not spend more than you are wanting them to). If your child doesn’t spend their full amount, we will send the change home with them. If you would like to write a check, make it payable to Cavaliers in Action. You can also leave the amount blank on the check and we will fill it in and let you know the total amount spent. Please make sure your child has their envelope (with 1-4 gift tags) and money on the day they are going to shop. You can turn it in to their teacher prior to their shopping day. Please check our school app post for more details. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us. We could use parent volunteers to help with our Santa Shop. If you can help on the days of the shop or on the 2nd during set up, please contact us. Contact: Ruthie Baker at 937-474-7306 or ruthiebaker89@gmail.com
