Check it out, we have a Planet Aid box in the North St parking lot! Planet Aid works with schools and community organizations to raise environmental awareness and inspire youth to help make a difference in the world. The bin accepts donations of clothing, shoes, household items, toys, books, linens and decor So get ready to do some spring cleaning and drop off your donations to the Planet Aid bin today, and in doing so you not only help reduce waste but also help the students recycle to help our environment. Thank you!

Families- we are off to a great start at both campuses! It's awesome to see the kids and how much they've matured. These first 2 weeks are focused on relationships and getting them back into a good routine. I have a couple of things for you to know:
1. We have partnered with the Miami Co. Sheriff’s dept. to have an armed officer between our two campuses for 5 hours, M-F. These hours may be morning or afternoon, depending on the schedule of the officer, but the 5 hours each day will not change. This is another important security measure that we are taking to ensure your child is safe here with us.
2. For the past several years, we have been a nut-free campus, meaning no tree nuts and foods that contain nuts were allowed on site during school hours. Currently, we do not have any students in either building with a serious nut-allergy, so WE ARE ALLOWING NUTS ONCE AGAIN. Let the peanut butter and jelly sandwiches commence! :) Please note, that this is subject to change at any time during the year depending on the needs of our students.
Stay Cool!

Families of 5th graders, If your student is interested in joining band, Kincaid Music will be holding an instrument rental presentation in the NSC music room on Monday, August 28th, at 6pm.
At this time, they will go over their rental and purchasing options in depth. It should take about 30 minutes. Attending this meeting does not mean your child is committing to band - it is strictly informational. In addition, if you are unable to attend, but would like a copy of the presented information, please email Miss Thornsberry at thornsberryr@piquacatholic.com
Here's to another great year!

Congratulations to our Jr Optimist Soccer Competition winners!
Rowynn Henry took 1st place in 4th grade, Oliver Owens took 1st and Bennett Garman took 2nd place in the Second Grade age group. GREAT JOB!

Just a reminder of our Uniform Policy, there are different options for boys and girls but if you have any questions at all please call the office. 💛💙

Running late for school and no uniforms clean? We have a solution for you!
We have 3 "Out of Uniform" passes you can purchase that can be used any time this school year.
Stop into the office and for $20.00 we will have your students passes ready.

Girls and Boys in grades 2-6th can sign up Wednesday, August 23rd during the Lehman Beanie Weenie from 5:30-8pm. You can register your child and try on uniforms that night so mark your calendars now and be sure to sign up your child for the Youth Basketball Program.

Grandparents Day is right around the corner so we wanted to let our Grandparents know to save September 14th from 9am-Noon on their calendars!
We will bus our Kindergarten and 1st graders over to our North St campus for one BIG celebration!
Watch for more information to come!
