Planet Aid works with schools and community organizations to raise environmental awareness and inspire youth to help make a difference in the world. The bin accepts donations of clothing, shoes, household items, toys, books, linens and decor So get ready to do some spring cleaning and drop off your donations to the Planet Aid bin today, and in doing so you not only help reduce waste but also help the students recycle to help our environment. May Crowning Piqua Catholic invites you to join us in honoring our Blessed Mother in our May Crowning procession and ceremony on Wednesday, May 10th at 8:30am. We will begin at St. Mary Church and we would like all students to bring in one flower each to place at Mary’s feet. We hope you can attend this beautiful Mass.

The Cavaliers in Action (PTO) at Piqua Catholic is seeking nominations for three officer positions; Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary. Voting for these positions will take place at the May 10th meeting beginning at 6:30 pm in the North St library. The CIA is a registered 501(c) (3) non- profit whose mission is to support our teachers, staff, students and families ensuring that our school is a faith-filled, enriching place where all feel welcome. Do you or someone you know, that might be interested in one of these positions? Each position is a two year term. Next Monday, May 15th our 3rd and 4th graders are asked to bring in their bikes for Bike Safety Day! Our 3rd and 4th graders will learn from a Bike Safety Officer about how to appropriately ride a bike, all about sidewalk and road laws, how best to wear a helmet and much more! All bicycles will be stored in the school's garage during the school day. For questions, please contact the school office.

We need your help! The Bethany Center is in desperate need of new or "gently" used stuffed animals. If you can help, please bring the stuffed animals to the school office at either campus, we accept donations until May 12th. Thank you so much for your help!

This is the Cavaliers in Action's biggest fundraiser of the year and a portion of all the funds raised this year will go to the Water for Sudan project that is so very important to our Jr High Students. Envelopes and money due Monday, May 8th.

Attention 6th, 7th or 8th grade boys interested in Football next year: Football Weightlifting Beginning May 1, we will offer 2 weightlifting options each day for players to attend one of the sessions. Weightlifting will be held on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 6am-7:30am and/or 3:00. Sessions will include weightlifting, speed/agility, and drill/skill work. These sessions are open to any current Lehman school district 8th grader that plans to play football this Fall. Any current 6th, 7th, or 8th grader interested in playing football this Fall should contact Coach Rowley to be included on all football communications.. Mark your calendars for the 5th through 8th grade Spring Concert held in the North Street campus gym on May 4th beginning at 6:30pm. This will be an evening of beautiful music and entertainment put on by our 5th-8th grade students at the direction of our music teacher, Ms. Rachel Thornsberry. All are invited to attend!

This July 31st-August 4th Careful Corners will be teaching school age children street, bike, fire, home and bus safety tips during this fun week! Check out the attached flier for more information, but register soon as space is limited!

Next week begins Teacher Appreciation Week so let's show our teachers some love, there are a few spots left but they are filling fast! Monday,May 1st through Thursday, May 4th we are asking parents to bring in lunch for the staff at North St (1st grade-8th grade) and on Friday, lunch will be provided for them by Cavaliers in Action.
