Reminder! Talent Show Dress Rehearsal is tomorrow at 1:30, if your child is in this years Talent Show please have them bring all instruments, music and costumes with them for tomorrow’s rehearsal. Thank you.

Tomorrow is crazy hat and sock day! K-8 students may wear jeans (no sweatpants) and any appropriate top.

See the flier for more information for our upcoming Kindergarten Open House on Thursday, February 2nd beginning at 5:30pm at our Downing St campus. You’re Invited! Wednesday, February 1st all 1st-8th grade parents/guardians are invited to Mass at St. Marys beginning at 8:30am followed by a pancake brunch in the North St cafeteria beginning at 9:30. But get ready to catch your pancakes as Mr. Zimmerman will be flipping pancakes to those who are talented enough to catch them! PLEASE RSVP TODAY with the name of your child and how many will be coming with you that day. Brunch of pancakes, sausage, eggs, fruit and a delicious muffin for brunch are provided to everyone by Piqua Catholic School and Cavaliers in Action(PTO) Students will also get a tasty snack in the afternoon. There will be Bingo in the gym, many photo opportunities through out the building and fun for all! RSVP by calling 937-773-1564 to reserve your seat and thank you for celebrating Catholic Schools Week with us.

Think Mr. Z would look great with green hair? Would you love to see Johnny C with an orange wig? Well you can!! Beginning Tuesday, January 31st at all lunches there will be buckets available for students to raise money to see Mr. Z, Mr. C and even more teachers with some crazy hair! It’s going to be a fun and crazy Catholic Schools Week!

*** Kiss the Pig has been extended to Monday, January 30th until the last lunch period. So students may bring in money on Monday and at the end of the day we will announce the winning teacher!*** Beginning Monday, January 23rd through January 27th, during both lunch periods the students may bring in money to determine which teacher will kiss a pig! You heard that right! During Catholic Schools Week the teacher that has raised the most money by Monday, January 30th will have to give Porky a smooch on the snout! If your child also wishes to pucker up and kiss the pig too then they may bring in a $1.00 donation. Thank you for supporting the Music Department!

The Lehman Music Department is hosting KIDS NIGHT OUT! February 10th from 5:30-8:30 for children Preschool through 4th grade are invited to Kids Night Out! Dinner, games, movie and a craft are included in the price so reserve your spot today by emailing m.gavit@lehmancatholic.com

Student Council will be selling heart suckers during Catholic Schools Week. The suckers will be 2 for $1. With the suckers are a piece of construction paper in the shape of a heart. Students can write a message on the heart and give these to the special people in their lives.... or they can keep them for themselves!!! :) The suckers will be on sale during the pancake breakfast, cold stone creamery, and the talent show. Reminder! Talent Show tryouts will be this Wednesday, January 25th in the afternoon. If your son/daughter has signed up for the talent show please have them bring in their instruments, any props they have and their music may be emailed to Mr. Zimmerman at zimmermanb@piquacatholic.org If we should have bad weather on Wednesday and school is cancelled then we will hold tryouts on Thursday. It’s time to show off your wild side! The Water for South Sudan team is sponsoring a tie-dye shirt and sweatpants spirit day on TOMORROW, January 24th. We know you’re just dying, get it? Dying?....anyways…, to show off your most creative tie-dye patterns, just bring in $1 dollar to dress colorful AND comfy. *****Students may also wear jeans and spirit wear if they do not have a tie-die shirt or prefer to wear jeans. *** All money raised will continue to help the Water for South Sudan team work toward their fundraising goal!
