All proceeds go to Mr. Lyon's and the Jr. High Students Sudan Safe Water Project. They are also still taking aluminum can donations for their ongoing project to raise $1000.00 towards the Safe Water Project to benefit the people of Sudan. Rescheduled! Picture Retake Day is now being reschedule for Thursday, November 10th beginning at 8:30am for our 1st through 8th graders.

The PSC School Board of Limited Jurisdiction’s meeting scheduled for next Thursday, November 10th has been canceled. The next scheduled meeting will be held Thursday, January 12th, 2023 in the North St. cafeteria beginning at 7pm. Any questions or concerns can be directed to the school office.

Piqua Catholic School is CLOSED today, 11/3/22. We were going to delay school due to the heavy, dense fog but with our already planned Early Dismissal we will not have adequate time for instruction. We will, however, still have our parent/teacher conferences as planned. See you at conferences!

Did you know about our 2 hour delay and school closings policy? Here it is! Piqua Catholic's Closing and Delay Policy due to inclement weather: In the case that we will delay or close school due to inclement weather, parents will be notified on the Piqua Catholic School App, text/email, WHIO Channel 7, and WDTN Channel 2. We will do our best to inform you of any delays/closings by 6:30a (at the latest) on the day of the closing. We know that many of you have to find childcare for your children on these days, so if we can inform you earlier, even the night before, we will. If weather dictates that school will be closed after the arrival of children, parents will be notified. Our Preschool, The Center for Early Learning, will be closed on ALL 2 hour delays and closed days. Extended care will NOT be offered. Please let us know if you have any questions. Thank you!

Piqua Catholic's second Dine to Donate of the school year will take place on Wednesday, November 16th from 5-8pm at Wings and Rings in Piqua. We are looking for substitute teachers! Both our North St. and Downing St. campuses are in need. Are you a stay-at-home mom or dad that can find childcare (hopefully free!) for your little ones for a day; a retired teacher or just retired; or are a college student looking for some extra money? Subbing at Piqua Catholic may be right for you! We guarantee a Jesus-centered, loving and fun environment to work in. Here are the requirements to be a sub: -All subs must be SafeParish trained. SafeParish is our Child Protection Decree program -All subs must be background checked and fingerprinted -All K-8 subs must have an active sub license or teaching license through the state of Ohio -All K-8 subs must have a 2 or 4 year college degree (Ohio changed this law to allow those with a 2 year degree to sub) -All Preschool subs must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma (college degree and early childhood experience preferred) For our Preschool, substitute teachers typically work 3 hours per day on an as needed basis. For K-8, substitute teachers typically work a full day (7:30a-3:30p). When a sub is needed, we call those on our sub list. Due to Parent Teacher Conferences this week, we will have an early dismissal at 1:15pm on Thursday, November 3rd. On Friday, November 4th we will have NO SCHOOL, so you and your families may enjoy the long weekend and we will see everyone on Monday, November 7th!

Do you ever wish for an "Out of Uniform" day when YOU need it? Out late the night before and forgot to wash up the uniforms, or your child is wanting a day off from uniforms? We’ve got an answer for that! Introducing: "Out of Uniform" passes! The "Out of Uniform" pass can be purchased in the front office: 1 pass for $10.00 3 passes for $20.00 Per student (no more than 3 per child) to be used during the 2022-2023 School Year only. Clothing choice must adhere to the school Handbook (ie. No leggings, ripped/torn clothes, etc.). Sweatpants, jeans, and like clothing are allowed. Passes can NOT be used on Holy Days or Mass days. Passes may be given to siblings or friends. Stop into the office TODAY!
