This week at Piqua Catholic: MONDAY: Builders Club Toy Drive begins! Please bring in new or “gently used” toys to either campus, now until November 20th. All toys will be donated to the Bethany Center. Thank you for your support. TUESDAY: Picture RETAKES for K-8th grade. WEDNESDAY: All Veterans are invited to mass at St Marys Church beginning at 8:30am, followed by breakfast in the North St cafeteria. Please call the North St office to RSVP by Monday, November 4th. Kindergarten and 1st graders may be brought directly to mass and then brought back to the Downing campus after breakfast if they have a Veteran coming. FRIDAY: Cavalier of the Quarter assembly beginning at 9am in the North St gym. KONA ICE will be at North St. from 1-3:00pm to celebrate the end of the Quarter. You may send money with your child or you may pay online. (See the attached flier.) BABY BOTTLES will be due back to school on November 25th. Thank you for supporting The Elizabeth New Life Center. MARK YOUR CALENDAR: The Downtown Piqua Holiday Parade will be Saturday, December 7th beginning at 2:00pm. CHANGE OF PLANS! This THURSDAY, October 31st students may wear jeans and a Halloween shirt. Happy Halloween!🎃 FRIDAY- Students will need to be IN UNIFORM for All Saints Day masses at both campuses. EXTENDED- There are a few extra boxes of chocolate bars so we will be extended the deadline for the Preschool's Chocolate bar fundraiser to Friday, November 1st. Money will now need to be turned in no later than Friday. If you would like to grab the last few boxes of chocolate bars, stop into the office any time this week. Have a great week!

This week at Piqua Catholic: Last week to sell Poinsettia's, all order forms and money will be due Friday. MONDAY- Students may wear jeans with a fall colored shirt for $1.00. Thank you for supporting Student Council. TUESDAY- The Preschool's Chocolate Bar fundraiser ends and all money collected from Chocolate bar sales should be turned in to either school office. Thank you for supporting the Preschool with this wonderful fundraiser. FRIDAY- Poinsettia money and order forms are due and can be turned in to either school office. VETERAN'S DAY- The students K-8th grade would like to invite our Veterans to mass on Wednesday, November 6th at 8:30am in St. Mary's Church, followed by breakfast in the North St cafeteria. Kindergarten and 1st graders may be picked up by their Veteran and brought to the Veterans Day event, but will need to be returned to the Downing St campus main office after breakfast is over. There will be a change in the lunch menu next week. On Monday, 10/28, lunch will be hamburger, fries, green beans, fruit and milk. On Tuesday, 10/29, lunch will be Little Ceasars pizza, chips, cookie, fruit and milk. There will be no student salads served on Tuesday.

One week left! Place your orders by Friday, November 1st when order forms and money are due. Poinsettia pick up will be November 25th 3:30-6pm. Be sure to specify when ordering on which school you will be picking up at. Thank you for supporting Jr High Athletics!

On Friday, October 25th the North St parking lot will not be open until 3:05 due to our Golden Ticket awards celebration. We will open the gates for pick-up no later than 3:05. Thank you

Lehman Catholic Junior High Athletics is currently seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join their team. LCJHAthletics is looking to hire assistant coaches for Girls Basketball and Winter Cheerleading within the junior high program. Those interested in applying for a coaching position with LCJHAthletics are encouraged to submit their inquiries to the athletic director, Mark Garman at m.garman@lehmancatholic.com. Poinsettia Sale! The holidays will be here before you know it so plan ahead and order your poinsettia's for your home or they make great gifts as well! Poinsettia order forms and money are due on November 1st and poinsettia's will be available for pick up on November 25th from 3:30-6pm. Watch for order forms to come home with your child this week. Let's throw in a little friendly competition! The class who sells the most candy bars (AT EACH SCHOOL) from today until next Tuesday when the money is due, will each get a cupcake party for their class! The competition begins today, good luck everyone! 🍫

This week at Piqua Catholic: MONDAY: Lehman Wrestling meeting for all students interested in wrestling, Kindergarten through 8th grade. The meeting will be from 6:00-7:00pm in the Lehman Cafeteria. WEDNESDAY: Kiwanis Halloween Parade 6:30pm in downtown Piqua. Check the flier for more information and contest rules. Check out the attached “Upcoming Events” flier for some important dates and reminders coming up in November and December. The Worlds Finest Chocolate Candy Bar fundraiser is going on now until October 29th. Each candy bar is only $1.00 and more boxes can be picked up at both campuses in the front office. Good luck to all sellers! REMINDER: There will be no After Care at either building on Friday, December 13th for the Staff Christmas Party. Parents, please have your student cross the street at the corner of North St. and Franklin St. or North St. and Broadway. Teachers are at those corners and will cross students safely. Please do not have your child cross North St. or the car line exit without a teacher.

Chocolate Bars are selling fast! Just as a reminder, turn in your permission slips signed by a parent and the student gets to bring home a box of $1.00 chocolate bars to sell. Need additional boxes? Just stop into either school office and pick up any additional boxes to sell. (These will only go home with parents) Also, some lucky winners will have a "Golden" ticket in their box which gets them a special surprise! These $1.00 bars are cheaper than the Dollar Store and cheaper than a bag of candy at Walmart so pick up a box or two to hand out for Trick or Treat night! Happy selling everyone!
